The Austin Miniature Minions welcome you to attend our second annual Warhammer Fantasy Indy GT, Capital City Carnage.
Being held on May 1-2, 2010 at the AustinConvention Center, we are expanding on the success of our first tournament and will be able to accommodate 80 players this year.
The format is a standard 5-game, 2-day tournament at 2250 points. To register and get more information, visit us at:
So sign up today, test your mettle against worthy opponents, enjoy the sights of a great city, and experience the camaraderie that can only come from attending an Indy GT!
The Pacific Marauders Broadside Bash (BSB) 3rd annual event will be held on February 13th and 14th, 2010 at the Radisson Hotel in Los Angles, CA and is part of Stratigicon OrcCon 2010 which runs from February 12th to 15th. We have 50 slots available for each of Warhammer 40K and Warhammer Fantasy Battles, as well as slots available for War of the Ring. The BSB is a 5 game GW GT-style tournament.
Everything you need to know about the tournament, scoring, hotel info, Strategicon, registration, etc. can be found there. Entry fee will include the tournament AND full admission to the con.
We are part of the Games Workshop Tournament Circuit, as well as the Indy GT circuit. If you came last year, you know how fun it was! Hope to see you there!
i know all of the low comp crew would love to attend the alamo or seattle but unless we start charging our clients more i dont know if we can afford it =/
as far as the grudge match is concerned, bring it on LD2-510-Oaktown. You guys might have the warriors, but we got the un-industrialized clean air city..hippies excluded :p
If the low comp crew wants to head up to Oakland some Saturday (or Sunday), we could always do a little club v. club smack down. Followed by beers across the street of course. Let us know and we can see if we can reserve space at the store.
The Alamo GT is up next. It is pretty much the last big hurrah of our 2009 season. After that we get some downtime... and we're already making plans for QCR 2010.
As far as 2010 goes, Dundracon is in February, so if you don't have Valentine's date, you can roleplay like you do. They are anti-miniatures in general, but typically have a one day WFB tourney going on.
thanks, i know rexy-poo wanted to hit up the Alamo, but i dont know if the rest of us poor bastards can.....definitely stoked for QCR 10 and we usually always make dundracon
The Sacto tournament on 10/24 is actually the 'Ardboyz semi-finals isn't it (3,000 points I believe)? If so, you need to have placed at least 3rd or higher in the last round to play in it.

Local Tournaments 2009
For the rest of 2009 here is a list I have of local (well sorta) tournaments:
10/24/2009 - Great Escape Games - Sacramento (large venue) - 2250pts
10/24/2009 - Black Diamond Games - Concord (small venue) - 1500pts (I think)
12/12/2009 - Great Escape Games - Sacramento - 2500pts
For those of us who can't just hop on a magical airship to far away places.
