New to the Area

Hey guys my name is Joe and I am 24 years old.  I moved to the bay area from Nebraska last august and have not met very many people.  I recently finished assembling a WFB army and will be attending Endgame's Thursday night warhammer night this week.  I heard you guys would be around and wanted to just introduce myself and say that I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow gamers in the area.

Didn't get a responce on the yahoogroup Joe.  Just get in somebody's face and insult their manhood in a creative way, and you should find a game pretty easy.  If they whine about your list (and the Drakenhof Banner might mean they do) just promise to buy them a beer at PCB across the street if they lose.  I won't be there tonight, but have fun.

Time

I am planning on being there as early as I can.  However I have to pick my gf up from the BART when she is finished with class which may be as late as 6:45-7:00.  After I pick her up she will drop me off at Endgame.  She said she may be able to leave class a little early but I am not sure if I expect that to happen.  Anyway, I hope to be there by 6:30 but prolly won't get there until closer to 7.  If you could post an add for me that would be great.  As for army size I currently only have 2k pts worth of models, today is payday however and I may pick something up while we're there.  And now I'm rambling, so thanks again, see you all tonight.

Most people do not start

Most people do not start showing until 6:30 and many do not wander in until 7.  You will be good.

 

Create a 2250 list and proxy some stuff.  no one will mind.

Wight King

I added a Wight King BSB mounted on a skeletal steed with the drakenhof banner for 245 pts bringing my total to 2248.  So I only need to borrow a mounted Wight King or some such for the night.  Will pick one up there when I buy my dice. Thanks again guys, looking forward to it.
